I know this seems like a lot of ingredients to mix, but very much worth the effort.
The recipe calls for fresh or frozen berries, I've tried using both and then I decided to try dried fruit and decided the dried fruit is the best way to go. If you use other fruits, be sure to compare the calories of the blueberries with the calories of whatever fruit you are using and then add the difference. Make sense?
I have also used wheat germ in the place of oat bran and it worked well, however, I think the wheat germ was a little more higher in calories than oat bran.
This recipe makes 24 muffins. I'm not sure how long they last, because they disappear very quickly in my house. You could probably freeze them individually and set one out the night before for a quick breakfast on the run.

They look wonderful. LOL on the fiber. I sometimes make these bran muffins and if you eat more than one YOU WILL PAY. They're good, but you have to restrain!!
